Project Details:

Frontera Construction was selected by private contract to build a new 5,300 square foot veterinary hospital and diagnostic center in Del Rio, Texas.  The project site started with 3 buildings that had previously been a motorsports dealership.  Two buildings were demolished, while the 3rd building was stripped down to the structural steel and slab.  Two additions were made to enlarge the building.  It was constructed using metal framing and an EIFS wall finish.  There are numerous exam rooms, surgery rooms, dental surgery areas, kennels, offices, along with a CT room and X-ray room.  The walls and ceilings are insulated with spray-on, closed cell, fire retardant foam.  There is an epoxy floor finish in the entire facility, custom millwork and cabinetry, and granite countertops throughout. The project was completed within a short timeline. Demolitian started in May of 2016 and the project was completed in November of 2016.
