Project Details:

This Project was awarded to Frontera Construction LLC by three separate competitive bids over 2 years. The City of Uvalde hired Frontera Construction to work with the CBP on the project under the direction of John S. Graves and Associates.

The multi-phase project included the renovation of an existing hanger and office space into new offices, reception areas, maintenance areas, restrooms, and secure firearm storage areas. A new addition was constructed that includes a gym and workout facility with new restrooms. The two existing hangers were updated with new electrical wiring, new vinyl faced insulation, new lighting, motorized hanger doors, exhaust fans, and two 24’ Big Ass Fans. The buildings were equipped with an access control system, new sidewalks, emergency exit stairs, perimeter security fencing, and new asphalt parking lots.
