Project Details:

Frontera Construction was selected by competitive sealed proposal for the Additions and Renovations to the United Medical Center-Main Street Clinic in Del Rio, Texas. The project involved several phases of construction; demolition of an adjacent building, remodeling a portion of the existing clinic, two additions to the clinic totaling 10,500 square ft, ADA accessible ramps and hadrails, and an additional parking lot. One addition was made to add space to the existing wating room, the other addition was made to add 8 exam rooms and offices, a training room, ADA restrooms, and a break room. The new construction was completed with structual steel and lightweight metal framing, an EIFS wall finish. The interior finishes included hollow metal doors and frames, ceramic tile and VCT flooring, suspended ceilings, and new LED lighting. All phases of the project were completed with the clinic open without disturbing or affecting the day to day operations of the facility. The first phase began in September of 2016 and the last phase was completed in December 2017.
