Project Details:

The City of Del Rio selected Frontera Construction from a competitive bid process to build their new Animal Control facility in Del Rio, Texas. It was a 3 phase process that required demolition and construction to move the  City employees into each phase as it was completed.

The new animal control facility was the first LEED Certified structure for the City of Del Rio. The construction for the office building utilized Structurarlly Insulated Panels (SIP's) for the walls and roof. The kennel building was constructed with CMU and wood framing. The exterior of the buildings are stucco with composotion single roofs. The office buildings has an ADA restroom and shower with ceramic tile and custom millwork. The 36 kennels have site built metal entry gates as well as aluminum guillotine divider gate.
