Project Details:

San Felipe Del Rio CISD selected Frontera Construction from a competitive, sealed bid process for the additions and Renovations, Walter Levermann Ram Stadium, Toilet and Concession Rooms. The Projects consisted of remodeling and adding onto the existing toilet rooms and concession stand of the buildings which were originally constructed in 1968. The new additions were constructed of concrete filled CMU and a concrete roof panel system.  The work consisted of doubling the size of both men’s and women’s toilet rooms, as well as the 2 concession stands.

The entire facility was modified for ADA access and a new multi-zone HVAC System. Both concession stands were outfitted with new commercial grade appliances and refrigeration equipment as well as new service counters and windows. Despite the challenges of renovating a 47 year old facility and coordinating the work with the numerous school and athletic functions throughout the spring and summer, Frontera completed the project ahead of schedule. The project started in November 2014 and was completed in July 2015.
